Over the weekend, Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE, lost at GCW Crushed Up. Following the match, Cardona posted a video, showing himself walking back to his car. Cardona said that he had had enough of the independent scene and wanted to return to WWE. Opinion: In this case, Cardona returning to WWE would be the definition of “I’ll believe it when I see it” as Cardona has a pretty nice setup going for himself outside WWE. This video feels more like a way to draw a reaction from the anti-WWE fans and that is not a bad way to go. While I could see Cardona making a return to the company one day, I’m not sure I can see this being the start of something happening.
What do you think of Cardona’s video? Should he return to WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
