No Bro: Big Update On Matt Riddle’s WWE Status Following Sexual Assault Accusation Over The Weekend

Gone for now. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster and several of them are incredibly skilled stars. Those talents can get them very far, but it takes more than that for wrestlers to be a success. A wrestler’s life out of the ring can impact what happens to them inside the ring, and that seems to be the case again, as a WWE star is going to be missing in action for a bit.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Matt Riddle Accuses Port Authority Officers Of Sexual Assault

Over the weekend, WWE’s Matt Riddle accused a Port Authority officer at JFK Airport in New York City of sexually assaulting him. No charges were fired and everyone was allowed to freely go. According to PWInsider.com, Riddle has been pulled from upcoming WWE events, including this week’s Monday Night Raw and two live events later this week. Riddle had previously been booked for all three shows. It is not clear when he will return to the ring.

Opinion: At this point, I’m curious if Riddle is ever going to be back in WWE. He has only been back from his most recent hiatus for about five months now and he’s already gone again. Riddle is a very talented star, but at some point he needs to be around and able to do something. I’m not sure what happened over the weekend, but WWE taking him off television is not the best sign.
