It’s a different way to go. We are officially on the Road to WrestleMania 38 and that means it is time to get ready for everything that WWE has planned. There are more than a few things to set up before we get there though and some of those things are more important than others. Some of them are more about the past than the present and this year, WWE might be trying something different.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE is planning on holding this year’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony after the April 1 edition of SmackDown. The ceremony will be helped from 10:30pm EST until midnight EST in the American Airlines Center. Rather than a separate ticketed event, the show will be a bonus for the fans in attendance for SmackDown. WWE has yet to announce any members of the class.
Opinion: This is a change of pace and it might be in a good way. If WWE is going to be running WrestleMania as a two night event, there are only so many ways to go to run everything in the same weekend. I think I like the plan here, as the SmackDown before WrestleMania is rarely the most important show. Letting the fans have something special like this is a nice change of pace and hopefully it is something that works out for everyone.
What do you think of the idea? Who do you expect to be in the class? Let us know in the comments below.
