It’s one way to go. The WWE Women’s Revolution has brought women’s wrestling a long way in the last five years and that is a great thing for the sport. Women’s wrestling was seen as a joke for decades and now they have become one of the most important parts of WWE. They have even headlined a WrestleMania, leaving very few things left to do. Some wrestlers now have an idea though.
Back in 2019, Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte headlined WrestleMania 35, marking the biggest moment in the history of women’s wrestling. That is the kind of thing that was hard to believe could happen before, but if it happened once, it could happen again in the future. Now some of the current WWE roster is pushing to see that kind of thing happen again.
Several current WWE wrestlers are now pushing the Twitter hashtag “maineventbanksvs.belair”, with the idea of having the SmackDown Women’s Title match between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair headline the first night of WrestleMania 37. WWE has not announced which match will headline the two nights, but Banks vs. Belair will be taking place on Saturday night.
If I can’t kick Michael Coles ass at #Wrestlemania37 then I better at least get………..#maineventbanksvsbelair

Before and after. Check out the biggest women’s match in wrestling history and what might follow it:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that might seem unlikely, but how unlikely was it to imagine a women’s match headlining WrestleMania in 2019? It has happened once and now it can happen again, so maybe we could be in for history being made again. I’m not sure how much I can picture it happening, but the fact that it feels possible is rather exciting and a very good thing.
