It could be interesting. WWE is the biggest wrestling and more prominent wrestling promotion in the world but that does not mean that it is the only place for wrestlers to go. There are all kinds of other places for wrestlers to work and sometimes their time in WWE does not work out anyway. Now we are going to get to see what happens with one such star.

One of the bigger surprises of the week was WWE releasing Andrade after he did not appear for the company since October. Andrade had requested his release earlier in the month but was denied, only to be let go soon after. Various wrestlers have not seemed thrilled with WWE for letting him go, but things have already started moving on and now we know a bit more about what is next for Andrade.

According to Fightful Select, Andrade will be allowed to wrestle under the name “Andrade” but will not be allowed to use the “Cien Almas” name, which he used during his time in NXT and during part of his time on the main roster. Also, according to F4WOnline.com, Andrade’s WWE contract does not contain a no compete clause, meaning that he could immediately begin wrestling anywhere he chooses. However, Fightful Select also says that he does have a no compete clause, leaving it unclear when he will be able to wrestle elsewhere next.

Whenever he gets back in the ring, it is going to work. Check out Andrade’s time in WWE:

Ali vs. Andrade: Raw, Oct. 14, 2019

Andrade vs. Rey Mysterio – U.S. Title Match: Raw, Jan. 6, 2020

FULL MATCH - Ricochet vs. Cesaro vs. Zayn vs. Andrade vs. Rey - Gauntlet Match: Raw, July 29, 2019

Opinion: This is an interesting situation and the fact that Andrade is able to stay on people’s minds, at least for the time being, is a good thing. Andrade really could go almost anywhere because he is talented enough to get a job anywhere he wants. I’m not sure what WWE was thinking when they let him sit on the sidelines for so long but it’s clear that this is going to let Andrade get back in the ring sooner rather than later, which is a good thing.
