That’s rather specific. To say that WWE has been a bit erratic as of late would be quite the understatement. The company has let all kinds of wrestlers go over the last several months and it often feels like no one’s job is safe. That can make for some tricky situations as everyone tries to figure out who might be gone next. Now it seems that WWE has their eye on a specific group of wrestlers.
Earlier this year, WWE held a tryout in Las Vegas, which resulted in 13-16 people being offered contracts with the company. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is prioritizing hiring “People Of Color” to the company. While that might not seem to be the case with their releases, that is their current focus with their recruiting of new talent. It is not clear how many wrestlers from the tryout signed with the company.
WWE certainly loves to bring in new stars. Check out some of their better debuts:
Opinion: This would probably count as another head scratcher, as WWE just released Hit Row, whose oldest wrestler was thirty one years old. I’m really not sure what WWE is going for these days and it is becoming quite the chore to try and understand them. Maybe things have changed since the tryout, but this seems to be odd even for them. Hopefully they can make things a bit more clear, because it’s anyone’s guess at this point.
