In with the old? We are on the Road To WrestleMania and that means things are going to be getting a lot more interesting in a hurry. This is the time of year where WWE starts taking things more seriously and you can feel things getting more and more important every week on the way down to Tampa, Florida for the biggest show of the year. This time around though, WWE might be approaching things a little bit differently.
There are so many different ways to build up towards a WrestleMania and that can make for some interesting decisions from WWE. Some of these are much better than others and oftentimes, one of the bigger criticisms is that there is too big of a focus on part time wrestlers and legends who have not been regular stars in years. Those complaints may be coming up again this year.
According to SportsKeeda, WWE is planning on bringing in several legends as part of WrestleMania 37. Names possibly appearing include John Cena, Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, though no names have been confirmed as of yet. There is no word on what any of them would be doing, though Cena is the only one who would be likely to have a match. Undertaker is also a possibility, though it is not clear what he would be doing at the show. WrestleMania 37 will take place over the course of two nights on April 10 and April 11.
Opinion: I’m not sure how well something like this is going to go, but that is fairly typical of WWE these days. Legends and part timers draw better than the current stars, which says a lot about how current WWE works. However, it very well could be that the legends are not around as often, but that could become a problem if they are making more frequent appearances, including at the biggest show of the year.
