A beast from the past. At Survivor Series, a vignette showed that Lars Sullivan was on his way up to the main roster. This was a big surprise as Sullivan seemed to be gearing up to go after the NXT Title and now is coming to the big time. It still isn’t clear where Sullivan is going to go, but now we might have an idea of the story that’s going to be going on to get him somewhere.
According to PW Insider Elite Audio, the plan for Sullivan may be similar to what happened with Bam Bam Bigelow back in 1987. The idea seems to be to have the Commissioners of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live get in a bidding war over Sullivan, which is what happened with the regular managers with Bigelow. There is currently no word on where he will end up.
This is what they’re bidding on. If you haven’t seen Sullivan and Keith Lee’s hoss battle from this week’s NXT, make sure to check it out right here:
Opinion: That’s not the worst idea in the world. Sullivan is the kind of monster that both shows would want and he’s been one of those guys that has made a huge impact as soon as he debuted down in NXT. There are plenty of people who could get destroyed by Sullivan on either show and it could be interesting to see what the shows try to do and pick him up going forward.
