Please don’t be bad. You never want to see someone get hurt in wrestling as it can be one of the most devastating things that can happen to any wrestler. An injury can come out of nowhere on what seems to be a spot that goes well, but other times you can see things going badly as they take place right in front of you. Unfortunately the latter was the reality this week.
This week’s NXT featured a match between R-Truth and Grayson Waller. During the match, R-Truth executed a running flipping dive over the ropes, which he did not entirely clear. As a result, R-Truth stayed on the ground with a seemingly injured knee, causing the referee to stop the match. There is no word on the severity of R-Truth’s injury or how long he might be out of action.
Opinion: That is a terrible thing to see as you never want someone to get hurt. R-Truth is one of the most entertaining and longer tenured stars in WWE but he is also in his late 40s, meaning he probably does not have much time left in the ring. It would be a shame for him to lose so much time due to a serious injury so now the best we can do is wait and hope that things get better.
What do you think of R-Truth? What should he do when he gets back in the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
