It’s official. Over the last few weeks, the status of WWE’s Crown Jewel event has been up in the air. The show is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia on November 2, but recent international incidents involving the country have made things a little more complicated. There was a question of whether or not WWE would actually hold the show or move it elsewhere, and now we know what they’re going to do.

WWE has released their third quarter financial statements, which includes a press release explaining their decision on the show. According to the statement by way of 411mania.com, the show will take place in Saudi Arabia as scheduled. WWE states that they will continue doing business in the country, as many other American companies are doing. The show is set to air on November 2 at 12pm EST on the WWE Network.

This is going to be a big part of the show.

Kurt Angle evaluates his World Cup competition: Raw, Oct. 22, 2018

Opinion: This was where I thought it was going the entire time as WWE is a company in the business of making money, which is what this will do. At the end of the day though, there is going to be some backlash. In theory, the backlash isn’t enough to outweigh the money that WWE will be making. Maybe they can ride this out, but it’s going to be a bumpy ride, at least to start.
