Maybe later. The WWE Network was a complete game changer for wrestling fans. After years of having to collect wrestling content on their own, fans could now have access to all kinds of material that they might not have seen in years. The service has since switched over to Peacock, but it is no less of an amazing option than it was before. However, we might have to wait a bit on a new special.
The latest episode of the WWE Icons series, focusing on Lex Luger, did not air on Sunday July 4 as scheduled. According to Wrestlinginc.com, the episode was delayed because WWE wanted a stronger lead in program before the show aired. There is no word on when the show will eventually air. It will include interviews with Ric Flair, Sting, Jim Cornette, Bret Hart and Luger himself.
Luger had a heck of a career. Check out what he has done in the ring:
Opinion: I’m not sure how much of a problem this is, but at the end of the day, WWE should have known about this situation for the last several months. Shouldn’t they have known what was going to be coming in the way of setting up the show? That does not seem to be the most insightful move, but for some reason they have to cancel at the last minutes. Fix that up already.
What do you think of Luger? Who would you like to see profiled? Let us know in the comments below.
