Double or something. One of the biggest stories of the last few weeks has been the rise of AEW, which has already signed some big names and is seemingly the intended destination for some other talents. That could make business a little more difficult for WWE, but they’re far from hurting with some of the resources they have available including one major thing: a lot of cash.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is currently offering to beat any other offers to prevent a talent from signing elsewhere. This decision was made after Bandido was signed by Ring of Honor when WWE wanted him. In some cases, if a talent is able to show WWE a written offer from another company, they will offer double the money if the talent will sign a WWE deal on the spot.

Opinion: This has always been where WWE held their biggest advantage. WWE might not be able to sign up the top AEW names, but they can buy up so much other talent that AEW could have trouble filling out their roster with big names. WWE has more than enough money to win a money war at the moment, just from regular income alone. Either way, the good thing is more talent making more money and that’s always a positive.
