Better safe than sorry. The biggest story in the world right now is the spread of the Coronavirus, which has gone all over the world and is currently spreading throughout America as well. This has caused a lot of issues among various industries, including sports. The various leagues are trying to find a way to keep things safe, and WWE is no exception to the idea.

There are a lot of ways to interact with WWE wrestlers, with coming to a show being one of the most common. That makes for a very different kind of experience than watching a show from home and in many ways, it is a big improvement. At the same time though, you are still fairly far apart from the wrestlers and WWE is going to strengthen that divide in the near future.

According to PWInsider.com, WWE instituted a “no touching” rule at its autograph signings over the weekend. The rule means that there are no handshakes or hugs between fans and wrestlers in an attempt to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. While it has not been announced, it is expected that this policy will also be in place at the upcoming Axxess event in Tampa.

Axxess will still be cool. Check out what goes on there:

Opinion: Really, can you blame anyone involved? I’ve been to several Axxesses and it’s going to be a lot of fun even without shaking hands. It’s not like you can’t go or you’re watching everything on a screen or something. This is a smart move from WWE and if it keeps a lot of people healthier and safer, then so be it. You can expect more things like this and that’s not a bad thing.

Have you ever been to Axxess? Which wrestler would you most like to meet? Let us know in the comments below.
