Make sure to press the lock button. Over the last few months, WWE has dealt with various cyber security issues among its stars. Various performers have had private photos and videos, often adult in nature, leaked without their conscent. As a result, WWE has started to do something about it.
According to PWinsider.com,
WWE has begun holding meetings to explain the idea of better cyber security for its talent. These meetings were mandatory and featured a security expert coming in to give a presentation on potential security threats. This included various scenarios that have caused issues for celebrities, as well as how the talent could avoid similar problems.
Opinion: There’s nothing wrong with this, either for a wrestling company or any company for that matter. WWE is a well known company and its stars are going to be the target of hackers no matter what. There’s no reason to not put up some kind of defense against something like this and if it helps, that’s certainly a positive.
