WWE Considering Calling Up Popular NXT Star To Main Roster

Come on up. There are a lot of talented stars o the WWE main roster but at some point there needs to be someone new brought in to freshen things up a bit. That is where NXT can be valuable, as they are able to hand the main roster some new talent after having them built up in the developmental system. Now we might be ready to see someone come up from NXT.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there has been talk of bringing Cameron Grimes up from NXT to the main roster. Grimes made a brief appearance on Monday Night Raw last month to recruit the OC to help him against the Schism in NXT. There is no word on when Grimes could be called up to the main roster or what he would be doing once he arrives.

Opinion: This is the kind of promotion that would be rather smart as well as overdue, as Grimes is more than talented enough to hang in there on the main roster. Grimes has done just about everything he is going to get to do in NXT and has the experience to be ready to move on up. Let him try his hand with the higher competition already as he certainly has the skills to give it a shot.
