That’s rather impressive. There are all kinds of wrestling matches to be had, some of which add something extra to ramp up the violence. These matches make things even more intense than usual and it feels special when you see one of them take place. Another was held over the weekend, and now we know something about it that made things all the more impressive.

This weekend at WWE Crown Jewel, Drew McIntyre defeated Karrion Kross in a steel cage match. However, according to PWInsider.com, McIntyre wrestled the match while “extremely sick”. McIntyre missed some of the run throughs for his match but was adamant about wrestling no matter what. There is nothing to suggest that McIntyre will miss any ring time due to his illness.

Opinion: This is one of those things that makes me even more impressed by McIntyre. He is one of the few wrestlers you never hear about missing shows or causing any issues whatsoever. Now he is working through an illness and made a big match anyway. You wouldn’t have known while watching the show and that is the sign of someone who is rather good at what they do.

What did you think of the match? What is next for McIntyre? Let us know in the comments below.
