Bringing it out of mothballs. With the extended pay per view schedule, it’s clear that some shows need to be brought back for the sake of filling out the rest of the cards. That’s the case with “Monday Night Raw’s” July pay per view as they’re going to bring back one of the previous pay per views.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, WWE announced that Bad Blood will return to the pay per view schedule on July 9, at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut as a “Monday Night Raw” show. This is the fourth Bad Blood show after “Bad Blood: In Your House” in 1997 and “Bad Blood 2003” and “Bad Blood 2004”. The previous three all featured Hell in a Cell, though this is unlikely to continue due to the match having its own pay per view.

Opinion: I’d much rather have something generic like Bad Blood than whatever nonsense gimmick based show WWE wanted to put together. That seems to be the trend as Backlash, No Mercy and Clash of the Champions all made their returns last year. Bad Blood is little more than a footnote in history but there’s nothing wrong with bringing it back.
