It’s a big night. Monday Night Raw has seen a lot of names come and go over the years. There have been all kinds of shows, from episodes inspired by the NFL to major celebrations to events that don’t seem like anything more than an excuse to have a special show. However, we’re coming up on a major milestone and WWE has decided to run with it, which is a rather nice move.
As announced on WWE.com, WWE will be celebrating Ric Flair’s seventieth birthday on February 25. There is no word on how big of a celebration it will be or how much of the show will be dedicated to Flair. The announcement hints at several special guests being present for the moment. Flair has appeared on and off for the company in recent years, mainly in segments involving his daughter Charlotte.
WWE knows how to run a Flair celebration. Check out his retirement in two parts:
Opinion: This is one of those things that you have to do and there’s nothing wrong with that. It wasn’t clear if Flair was going to make it to this year after his major health scare so seeing one of the biggest stars of all time receiving such a moment is more than worth the time. Flair deserves something like this as not many legends make it to this age, especially ones who can talk like him.
Who do you want to see at the celebration? Who else deserves such an occasion? Let us know in the comments below.
