Everybody loves four times the tournaments! WWE has gone tournament crazy in the last few months as we’re currently in the middle of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, the Mixed Match Challenge and the Cruiserweight Title Tournament. While the Mixed Match Challenge will end tomorrow night, the other two will still be going as we head to New Orleans for “Wrestlemania XXXIV” weekend. However, it turns out that WWE is adding another FOUR tournaments to the schedule, all of which will be taking place over the course of the first three days of Axxess.

A tournament needs entrants, like this one from last year.

Meet the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament competitors

WWE has announced four tournaments taking place over the weekend Axxess sessions. These tournaments will crown #1 contenders to the United Kingdom Title, NXT Tag Team Titles, NXT North American Title and NXT Women’s Title. Three of the four title matches (save for the NXT Women’s Title match) will take place on the final day of Axxess (Sunday). The shows will also include title matches from the Progress promotion and WWN (World Wrestling Network), as well as matches featuring “205 Live” and “NXT”. Here are the brackets for Thursday:

WWE U.K. Championship Invitational First Round
• Lio Rush vs. Buddy Murphy
• Dan Matha vs. Drew Gulak

NXT North American Invitational First Round
• Fabian Aichner vs. Jason Kincaid
• Akira Tozawa vs. Kona Reeves

NXT Tag Team Invitational First Round
• Moustache Mountain vs. Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss
• Street Profits vs. Cezar Bononi & Adrian Jaoude

NXT Women’s Invitational First Round
• Nikki Cross vs. Aliyah
• Kairi Sane vs. Bianca Belair

And for Friday.

WWE U.K. Championship Invitational First Round
• Lince Dorado vs. Raul Mendoza
• Mark Andrews vs. Zack Gibson

NXT North American Invitational First Round
• Chris Dijak vs. Ariya Daivari
• Hideo Itami vs. Wolfgang

NXT Tag Team Invitational First Round
• SAnitY vs. Forgotten Sons
• TM61 vs. Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch

NXT Women’s Invitational First Round
• Dakota Kai vs. Lacey Evans
• Candice LeRae vs. Peyton Royce

Opinion: Cool. Like seriously cool. The interesting thing here is to have all of the other indy shows available. Those promotions are running shows during Wrestlemania weekend, but what better way to keep the fans in the WWE tent than by giving them a chance to see them on the WWE’s home turf? This is another way to expand the WWE market, as well as checking out some future talent to be signed down the line. Get what you can and maybe make some money off of it at the same time.

Who do you think wins these tournaments? Will any of the winners become champions on Sunday? Let us know in the comments below.
