They keep changing. The Coronavirus pandemic is still alive and well and there is nothing to suggest that it will be wrapping up anytime soon. We are currently in another spike and that could continue for a good while. The situation has certainly changed the wrestling industry again, and now we know a little bit more about how the biggest promotions are dealing with it.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE wrestlers are not allowed to talk about their positive diagnosis as per orders from management. AEW wrestlers are under no such restrictions, though no wrestlers have disclosed a recent positive test. At the moment, both companies are planning to move forward without making any major changes due to the pandemic.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that needs to be handled well, but what matters most is that everyone can stay as healthy as possible. There are so many things that could go wrong at the moment and it is nice to see that WWE is holding together as well as they have so far. It should be interesting to see what this means for Day One next week, but we could be a long way off from finding that out.
