Yeah that’s going to work. Earlier this year, NXT arrived on the big stage with their win over Monday Night Raw and SmackDown at Survivor Series. While NXT had been a big deal to the more hardcore fan base, this was the first time that they were given a chance to shine on the big stage. They took that chance and ran with it and now they’re going to be getting some more big chances.

With the year coming to a close, we are able to start looking forward to 2020. For wrestling fans, that means the Royal Rumble is closing in fast, which means the other shows held over Royal Rumble weekend are coming with it. That means the start of the Road to WrestleMania, as well as the traditional NXT Takeover. However, that show isn’t taking place this year, so we need a suitable replacement.

WWE has announced the first match for When Worlds Collide, which will feature NXT vs. NXT UK in a battle for brand supremacy. The show, which takes place on January 25, will feature Imperium (Walter/Marcel Barthel/Fabian Aichner/Alexander Wolfe) vs. Undisputed Era (Adam Cole/Kyle O’Reilly/Bobby Fish/Roderick Strong) in an eight man tag team match. The Undisputed Era currently hold all of the titles in NXT and there is a chance that Imperium will hold all of the titles in NXT UK by the time the match takes place.

You might need to know something about both teams. Check out a look at both of them:

Opinion: Well if you insist. This is one of those matches where it makes all the sense in the world and yet you don’t quite expect to see it happen. Earlier this year, Cole said that the Undisputed Era was the most dominant force in wrestling. I was wanting to see Imperium appear, just for the sake of Cole freaking out. Now we might get that chance, and that is what makes NXT so much fun.
