There’s a way forward. Monday Night Raw has not been doing so well as of late and it is starting to become a big problem. In addition to the show’s ratings and viewership sinking at a pretty rapid pace, the biggest problem seems to be that the show needs something fresh. Given the amount of wrestlers that the show has on its roster, this shouldn’t be an issue and it seems that they have an idea of how to fix things.

Earlier this month, WWE presented its annual Tables, Ladders And Chairs event with the normal array of matches. The show featured several gimmick matches, but one regular match in particular stole the show. That would be Buddy Murphy vs. Aleister Black in a match that seemed to receive quite a bit of praise from the fans. It turns out that there might be more plans for the two of them.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there are plans in place for both Black and Murphy. The idea will be to have Black pushed as a strong babyface going forward while Murphy is pushed as a strong heel. There is no word on how far these pushes could go for either of the two. A rematch between Black and Murphy has already been announced for the December 30 Monday Night Raw.

It really was a great match. Check out the first edition of the two:

Opinion: I’m not sure how far or well this is going to go, but it’s nice to see someone, anyone for that matter, getting to move up the ladder a little bit. Monday Night Raw has felt very stale for a long time now and it makes a lot of sense to give us ANYTHING new. Sometimes that’s the solution, as you have to throw something new out there and see what sticks. I don’t know if Black or Murphy are the solution, but they might have a chance and that’s what they need.

Which of the two has more potential? Who do you see winning the rematch? Let us know in the comments below.
