Any improvement is a good thing. Coming off of “Bound For Glory 2017”, Impact Wrestling didn’t get off to a hot start. Their first episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew fewer viewers than the week before, suggesting that fans weren’t exactly thrilled with what was being presented. So how did things go the next week?
According to Wrestlinginc.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew 272,000 viewers, which is up 9% over last week’s 252,000 viewers. The show was headlined by Eli Drake defending the Global Championship against Petey Williams and featured content exclusively from Impact Wrestling rather than from any global partners.
Gail Kim’s career ended last night, including a great retrospective on her run with the company.

Opinion: I’m glad this week’s show had more viewers as the show was one of the company’s best in a good while. The show felt much more crisp and got to the point, which feels like a much better show. I liked this show quite a bit and that’s not something I get to say around here very often.
