Shawn! Shawn! Shawn! 2007 was a time of transition for WWE. They were still riding hard on the John Cena train but he needed someone to take some of the burden. When he suffered a server injury, that necessity was accelerated. This meant it was Randy Orton’s time and who else do you call when you need to put over someone young?

WWE has posted the full version of Shawn Michaels challenging Orton for the Raw World Title at “Survivor Series 2007”. This was part of a long running story between the two as Orton had put Michaels out of action and it was time for some revenge. That was the chance he had at the pay per view and here’s the full match.

FULL MATCH - Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton - WWE Title Match: Survivor Series 2007

Opinion: Michaels is the kind of guy who was never going to win the title but he could convince you that he could, which is quite the valuable asset. There was always the chance that he could catch a quick superkick and win the title one more time. Orton needed some wins like this though and it’s not like Michaels was going to be downgraded by a loss in a big match environment.
