Better, kind of. With the return of “Thursday Night Football”, it was clear that “Impact Wrestling” was going to take a hit. It’s the same problem that “Monday Night Raw” has faced for years and there’s no way around it for Global Force Wrestling either. So how did it go for the second week of the season?
According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew a .05 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 239,000 viewers. These numbers are even with and up 5% from last week. However, the raised viewership is still the second worst of the year, only above last week.
Here’s the big closing segment:
Moose Fires Up on Lashley..It Backfires | #IMPACTICYMI Sept. 14th, 2017
Opinion: Honestly, this is hardly surprising. At the end of the day, football is going to crush professional wrestling no matter what. “Impact Wrestling” is going to have to deal with this for a few months now and there’s no way around it. As long as it doesn’t dip much further than this, things should be ok but that’s a big line to cross.
