Watch: WWE Releases A Hilarious Video Of Mauro Ranallo

I wish I was this energetic. Mauro Ranallo is one of the most popular commentators in wrestling today due to his sheer enthusiasm for his job. He goes completely over the top with almost everything he sees, including with his trademark MAMA MIA catchphrase. Even the fans chant it for him, whether he’s on commentary for the show or not. Ranallo has become a treat during Takeovers, and the most recent one was no exception.

This man does NOT phone it in.

Mauro Ranallo reacts to the chaos of Ciampa and Gargano's Last Man Standing Match

WWE has released a new video of Ranallo’s reactions to almost every big spot from Saturday’s Last Man Standing match between NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. The match was incredibly violent with both guys beating each other up for over half an hour. Ranallo was his usual self during the match, shouting and screaming at nearly every important part.

Opinion: Ranallo is incredibly entertaining as he comes off like someone who is getting sucked into the show right along with us. That’s a very different kind of commentator compared to the often drone like WWE versions. There’s a reason that so many people compare him to Jim Ross, who is the last big time commentator to use a similar style. Hopefully he sticks around for a long time, as he’s incredibly entertaining at his job.
