He really did it. Wrestling is a scripted sport with everyone involved knowing most of what is going on at any given time. That creates some issues with making sure that things are as real as possible, but there is always the feeling that things are not as they seem. Occasionally you will see someone go above and beyond to make a situation come off as more realistic and that was the case this week.

The main angle on this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw Jack Perry and the Young Bucks attack company President Tony Khan. The following night, Khan was seen at the NFL Draft in the Jacksonville Jaguars’ room, as his father owns the team. Khan was shown wearing a neck brace, with various media outlets referencing the angle from Dynamite. There is no word on when Khan will return to AEW TV.

Opinion: This is a rare situation where the story itself is one of the most controversial things you will see in wrestling and it is even more out there to see it on this kind of a stage. You cannot say Khan isn’t selling the heck out of the thing, but it is going to be interesting to see what happens when the fans get their chance to see what is next. It’s certainly interesting though and points to Khan for helping move that along.
