He’s still in. There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history and a small number of them have reached the top of the company. Those are the names who fans will remember long after their in-ring career is over, but occasionally you will see those stars pop up again. Now we know that one of those stars will be able to come back with a new deal.

According to PWInsider Elite, WWE Hall Of Famer the Undertaker has signed a new Legends contract with WWE. This is the first such deal that Undertaker has agreed to following the company’s sale to Endeavor. It is believed that the deal was done before WrestleMania 40 in early April, though it was certainly done by the time the show took place. There is no word on how long the new deal lasts. Undertaker appeared at WrestleMania 40 Night Two, attacking the Rock during the main event.

Undertaker is indeed a legend. Check out what he has done in his recent appearances:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised that Undertaker is going to be staying in the WWE family as he has been around for decades and there is little reason for him to leave. At the same time, it is nice to see him sticking around, as having Undertaker in WWE just feels right. Having him show up once in awhile for a special appearance like the one at WrestleMania works well, and that should be happening again for awhile to come.
