WATCH: LA Knight Takes Out Roman Reigns At WWE Live Event

I think we have a challenger. Roman Reigns has dominated WWE for over three years now, holding the Universal Title since August 2020. Over the course of his reign, he has taken out challenger after challenger with almost no one being able to stand up to him. That leaves him looking for fresh competition, and now someone has come after him in a pretty big way.

This week on SmackDown, LA Knight confronted Roman Reigns and seemed to put himself in the hunt for a title shot. Over the weekend, Reigns was in action at a WWE live event in Kansas City, Missouri. After his match, Knight ran in and laid Reigns out with the BFT. There has not yet been a match announced between the two and they have never faced off before.

Opinion: I don’t think it’s any secret now that Knight is likely to be challenging Reigns at Crown Jewel next month. While I don’t know if I can see Knight winning the title, he is just hot enough at the moment to make you believe that it could happen. Someone is going to have to beat Reigns at some point and the fact that it could be Knight is about as fascinating as you could get.
