WATCH: Kevin Owens Reveals Rather Personal Situation On SmackDown

That’s not good. Wrestlers are larger than life performers who do all kinds of things that regular people would never consider. Those things can be rather entertaining at times and make for some interesting situations. However, there are also times where things are incredibly serious and have nothing to do with what is going on in the show. Unfortunately that is the case again in WWE.

This week’s SmackDown featured an in-ring segment with Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens before their six man tag this week at Money In The Bank. Owens revealed that he had been with his mother in the hospital over the last few days, as his mother is “fighting like h***” against an unspecified situation. While Owens knew he could miss the show with no one taking issues with it, his mother would have been angry at him for not showing up. Owens said he planned on being at Money In The Bank no matter what happened with his mother.

That’s rather serious. Check out the interview, plus Mrs. Owens’ baby boy:

Opinion: Obviously what matters the most is Owens’ mother’s health, as you never want to see something like this happen. Hopefully she is able to bounce back and have everything be ok, as it sounds like a serious situation. Owens being at the show is fine, but at the same time, it would not surprise me to see him take a bit of a breather after Money In The Bank, which is perfectly understandable.
