He’s new around here. There are all kinds of stars on the WWE roster but the company has to constantly add in new names on a regular basis. The company can find talent from a variety of places and one of the most common is from other promotions. This could be from anywhere in the country, but sometimes WWE goes international, which is what they have done with another star.

This Wednesday, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide ran their Noche de Campeones event in Acapulco, Mexico. During the show, Dragon Lee and Dralistico defeated FTR to become the new AAA World Tag Team Champions. Following the match, Lee announced that he had signed with WWE, with no word of what will happen to the titles. WWE later sent out a tweet announcing that Lee would be starting with NXT in January. Lee, 27, is a former Ring Of Honor Tag Team and Television Champion.

Opinion: This came out of nowhere and it is nice to see another star like Lee getting his chance on the big stage. While he has wrestled elsewhere, there is something special about him being able to go somewhere that has more eyes than anywhere else. I’m curious to see how he does in WWE, but you never know how this is going to play out until he has had a chance.
