It can happen to anyone. There are all kinds of events on WWE’s calendar every year, as the company runs its shows all over the country. Some of them are not held in front of television cameras and are just there for the live fans in attendance. That can make for some special moments, but a recent show was memorable for some rather negative reasons.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Could Be Awhile: Missing AEW Star Addresses Absence From Company

This past Monday, WWE ran a pair of live events on the same night, with one show taking place in New York City while the other was held in Columbus, Ohio. However, according to PWInsider.com, several stars missed the Columbus event due to travel issues. Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Bobby Lashley and Alexa Bliss all missed the show. In addition, according to Fightful Select, several other talents were late to the event. The show’s main event had to be changed from Rollins vs. Austin Theory to Theory vs. Damian Priest vs. Johnny Gargano for the US Title.

That is some top talent to miss. Check out the missing wrestlers in action:

Opinion: This is one of those things that is going to happen at some point and there is little way around the issue. At the end of the day, this is a problem that was brought on by weather and the travel situations being made even more complicated by the time of the year. I’m sure WWE will find a way to make it up to the fans in the future, but that is a horrible stroke of luck for everyone involved.

What do you think of the changes? How could WWE have made it up to the fans? Let us know in the comments below.
