That’s downright inspiring. An injury is one of the worst things that you can see in wrestling as you never know when someone is going to be put on the shelf for a long time. Someone could be taken out in the blink of an eye and have their career completely changed. That was the case earlier this month at WrestleMania, but it seems that there might be some good hope.
On the first night of WrestleMania 38, Rick Boogs injured his knee during a tag team match, suffering a torn quadricep patella. Boogs underwent surgery later in the week, but has already posted a video on Instagram showing him walking on crutches, set to There’s No Easy Way Out from Rocky IV. The expected recovery time for the injury is 4-6 months, though there is no word on when Boogs is expected back in the ring.
That is a strong man. Check out Boogs’ progress:
Opinion: What kind of a person is able to get back on his foot less than two weeks after such major surgery? That is not normal in any way and Boogs is someone who seems like he would be putting in every bit of work that he could to get back in the ring as fast as possible. If nothing else, it is great to see him having some fun with it as the song was a great touch.
What do you think of Boogs? What do you want to see him do when he gets back in the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
