So he’s not happy with himself? Late last year, Daniel Bryan turned heel for the first time in WWE for several years. While coming off as a little confusing at the time, Bryan’s new character has turned into one of the best villains on the roster with some incredible work. It includes all kinds of things that should make fans angry, including a few new things in Phoenix over the weekend.
This is rather amazing. Check out Bryan ranting about…himself in a way:
Bryan appeared at the Royal Rumble Axxess store in Phoenix, Arizona which was set up for the Royal Rumble, and cut a promo against people trying to buy his merchandise. The speech talked about Bryan not wanting the merchandise to exist and how many things that were available against his will. Bryan was also angry about AJ Styles, who he will be facing at Royal Rumble, having merchandise.
Opinion: I’m still not sure how we got here but Bryan is one of the best talkers in wrestling these days and is downright unlikable at the moment. Yelling at the fans and telling them what they’re doing wrong is one of the best possible ideas to get heat on a new villain. This is even more impressive when you consider how over Bryan was just a few months ago. It takes impressive talent to do such a thing and Bryan has done so.
What do you think of Bryan’s time as a heel? How long will he be the champion? Let us know in the comments below.
