WATCH: 36 Year Old WWE Star Makes Surprise Return To The Ring At Live Event

He’s back. Every so often, wrestlers will go away for one reason or another and it can be a long time before you see them again. This could be anything from the company not having anything for them to some sort of an injury. It makes for some frustrating times as they are gone, but their returns can be a big deal. That was the case again this weekend, as a WWE star made a surprise return.

Johnny Gargano made a surprise return to the ring this weekend at a WWE live event in Uniondale, New York, losing to Omos. This was Gargano’s first match since July, when he lost to Omos on a pair of live events. Gargano has not wrestled on television since the May 15 Monday Night Raw. There is no word on when or how he is expected to return to WWE television.

Opinion: For some reason Gargano has yet to find his footing in WWE so maybe this run is the one where he will be able to get something going. At the end of the day, the talent is absolutely there and the fans care about him, so it’s all about finding the right combination to make it work. He still has to make it back to television though, as losing to Omos on a live event isn’t the same thing.
