Video: WWE Wades Into The Modern Era Vs. Attitude Era Debate

Attitude Season! This Season! You will always see one argument after another about which of these two eras was better. I know there are arguments from both sides and there’s nothing wrong with that kind of a debate. That being said, you never can really have a definitive answer to something like this and even WWE isn’t going to try. They will however take a look at the question themselves.

That’s like your opinion man.

Attitude Era vs. Current Era: WWE Head to Head

WWE has posted a new video looking at the debate over the Attitude Era vs. the modern era. The video is set up like a back and forth debate between faceless names arguing both sides of the question. There are videos included for both sides of the question, which is centered around the idea of the Attitude Era’s emotion against the modern era’s athleticism and overall production.

Opinion: For the risk of starting a small riot, I’ll refrain from going into which version of the two that I like better. It’s true that there are merits to both sides and it’s true that there were a lot more people watching every Monday night back in the day. At the same time though, WWE just got a billion dollars for the rights to Monday Night Raw so they’re certainly making a lot of money now. If nothing else, it’s cool to see WWE actually acknowledge that there might be something better than what they’re producing at the moment.
