Video: Trailer for HBO’s Andre the Giant Documentary

This is a big one. Andre the Giant is one of the few names in wrestling who is almost universally recognized. He was almost literally larger than life and there are some amazing legends about him, many of which are almost impossible to believe. Thankfully we now have a way to consolidate these together into one place and there’s a preview available.

HBO has released a trailer for its upcoming documentary on Andre the Giant, which is scheduled to be released at some point in the spring of 2018. The trailer shows some clips with voiceovers talking about what a big celebrity Andre the Giant was. There is no word on who has been interviewed for the film. Here’s the trailer:

Opinion: If this is anything near what ESPN’s 30 for 30 documentary on Ric Flair was, we should be in for a treat. Andre the Giant is one of the most fascinating subjects in wrestling history and some of the stories about him are nothing short of legendary. Hopefully they give this the time that it deserves, which seems to be the case.
