Some are better than others. While the big idea is supposed to be wrestling, there are always other things going on in the business than just regular matches. You have to have some storylines thrown in and one of the most common is a wedding. Sometimes wrestlers get together and it leads to relationships, which often lead to someone popping the question. To the list!

WWE has released a Top Ten list of the best in-ring proposals, which spans quite a long stretch of time. Some of them are in recent years and some go back over fifteen years with one going closer to thirty. It’s such a common trope in wrestling that there are even some not so serious ones on here and a few you might not remember. Here’s the list:

Opinion: Yeah you knew what was going to be number one and there was no way around it. Why go with the big wrestling angle when you can go with the reality show stuff instead? Anyway, there are some good moments in here (Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth springs to mind) but some that are more odd than anything else (Goldust and Aksana for instance). But yeah, of course John Cena and Nikki Bella was #1, because we just haven’t seen that clip enough lately.
