Video: Top Ten Infamous Superstar Haircuts

A little off the side, or maybe just take it all. If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance that you either have hair or you’ve had it at some point. Assuming one of those two things, odds are you’ve had a few haircuts in your life. Well wrestlers are the same way, though sometimes their haircuts aren’t exactly under the most pleasant of circumstances. Haircuts in wrestling have been a thing for a very long time, which is why WWE is looking back at some of the better known ones.

WWE has posted a new Top Ten video looking at the Most Infamous Superstar Haircuts in WWE history. This is a list that goes back over thirty years and all the way up to modern times with a range of situations to set things up. It might have been the result of a bet with hair vs. hair or hair vs. a variety of things, or someone attacking a rival and cutting their hair against their will while the person was unconscious. Several of the wrestlers would never bother growing their hair back, turning it into their signature look.

Opinion: It’s kind of a weird video to put out there but this is something that has been around for the better part of ever in wrestling. Taking someone’s hair is equivalent to taking their dignity, which is why it’s always been such a big deal in all of wrestling, especially in lucha libre. WWE loves something like this and thankfully they don’t do it very often. Let the good angles be used infrequently and they’ll stay good for a very long time.
