They’re made to be broken. Wrestling records date back a very long time. It could be the length of a title reign, the most wins at an event, or the most times winning a championship, but you could go on forever with these things. There are some that are more famous than others, but they’re broken and set every single year, including several in 2018.
You could set your own record. Like watching this cool video the most times ever:
WWE has posted a new episode of List This, looking at 10 WWE Records That Were Broken In 2018. These include individual records both on pay per view and television, with everything from endurance records to title records. The records also include a combination of both one night records and records that took years to establish, with one dating back over twenty five years.
Opinion: I love this kind of stuff and while some of the stats might be a bit of a stretch (I’m still not clear on what the modern era of WWE is supposed to entail), there are so many interesting factoids that can be put together from WWE. They’re capable of putting together some awesome videos and countdowns like this and their year in review stuff is usually excellent.
