That sounds like a good answer. If there’s one thing that you can count on from NXT, it’s getting to see big names grow up before your eyes. Some of the names down there are bigger than others, but the bigger the names get, the more impactful their time on the main roster can be. Everyone has to start somewhere, and we’re ready for someone else to make their debut on the main roster.

As announced on Madison Square Garden’s website, Matt Riddle will be appearing at next Wednesday’s house show. Riddle will be part of a ten man tag match where he teams with Velveteen Dream, Aleister Black, Pete Dunne and Ricochet against Tommaso Ciampa and the Undisputed Era. He will be replacing Johnny Gargano, who was removed from the match after turning heel a few weeks back.

Riddle is something very special. In case you haven’t seen it, check out his rather impressive NXT debut:

Matt Riddle vs. Luke Menzies: WWE NXT, Oct. 31, 2018

Opinion: I know this is just a one off appearance, but Riddle wrestling at Madison Square Garden is a cool thing to see. In addition to that, it says a lot about what WWE thinks of him. If he’s the person on this NXT all star team, it means that NXT certainly sees a lot of potential in him, both now and in the future. Riddle needs some more seasoning but when he gets to the main roster, it’s going to work very well.
