Video: Shawn Michaels On If He’ll Wrestle Again

One more all over again? Yesterday at Crown Jewel, Shawn Michaels made his long awaited return to the ring. Michaels looked perfectly fine in the ring and even had flashes of some of his previous brilliance. Considering he hadn’t had a match in eight years, the performance was all the more impressive. So now comes the most obvious question: will he get back in the ring again?

In a new video posted to WWE’s YouTube page, Michaels talked about what he’s going to be doing now that his match is over. Michaels talked about being sore from the match with pains that remind him why he doesn’t do this anymore, but also that he had a good time while he was in the ring. With the match out of the way though, he said that he was returning to his regular life and not going to do it again “if he can help it”.

Opinion: As much as I want to believe him, I have a hard time buying that Michaels won’t get in the ring again. That comment about “if I can help it” leaves a door open for a return and it wouldn’t shock me to see him wrestle again in April at WrestleMania. His performance yesterday was quite good, though I’m not sure if he can do it again on his own without the other people involved to help cover for him.
