Can you blame him for being mad? Wrestling is always going to be a dangerous sport as there is no way to be completely safe. No matter what kind of training a wrestler has, there is always the chance that something could go wrong. The situations can be made even worse if someone makes a reckless mistake. That was the case last week on AEW Dynamite, and someone isn’t happy about it.
Sammy Guevara has been feuding with Matt Hardy as of late. During a brawl this week on Dynamite, Guevara threw a chair at Hardy’s head, legitimately busting him open. The cut required several stitches to close, and Guevara’s actions were not well received, as he threw the wrong chair at Hardy. Since then, Hardy has not made any comments on the incident, but that has changed over the weekend.
He probably should be upset. Check out what Hardy had to say:
Hardy has released a video responding to Guevara and the incident from Dynamite. Hardy says that Guevara’s actions were dangerous and could have killed him before moving on to say that Guevara is going to go down as having unlimited potential. He also vowed to end Guevara one way or another. A match between Guevara and Hardy has yet to be officially announced.
It was a nasty moment. Check out what happened to start everything:
Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised by this as AEW turning this into an angle, with Hardy doing the talking, is hardly shocking. Hardy seems capable of going with anything in wrestling and as bad as the incident was, it was still an accident. That is the kind of thing that can be quite the reason to push forward with a feud, and it’s not like the two of them had anything great going on in the first part.
