You can’t blame a guy for trying. Mandy Rose is a unique character in today’s wrestling world. She’s a stunningly gorgeous woman whose looks have been played up by WWE commentary (Corey Graves in particular), but she has also turned into a pretty good worker in the ring, which is more than a lot of wrestlers, male or female, can say. It’s no surprise that she has fans, and one of them was rather bold.
At a recent WWE house show, a fan (who appears to have been a plant) held up a sign asking Rose to marry him. Rose went up to the fan, said that she was good thanks, and then cut a promo on Asuka. The fan asked again, saying that he would marry her after Rose’s match with Asuka. At the moment, the match doesn’t seem to be taking place as Asuka lost the SmackDown Women’s Title to Charlotte on SmackDown Live.
He certainly took a shot. Check out the fan trying his luck:
Opinion: While it’s fairly obvious that this was a planned segment, it’s certainly cool to see WWE going with something more unique. You see these Marry Me signs at almost every wrestling show so why not see what it can be used for? Rose is someone that seems ready to move up to the next level and giving her a chance to talk like this is a good sign for her future.
Has Rose impressed you lately? How far could she go in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
