Backstage News On The WrestleMania 35 Main Event

Well you know there are going to be some comments on this one. Yesterday, WWE announced a major milestone as the main event of WrestleMania’s 35 will feature the Raw Women’s Title match being defended in a triple threat match. This is the first time a women’s match has main evented the show, or really even come close to doing so. Therefore, there are definitely some comments on the subject from inside the company.

Since the announcement of the women’s match going on last, the three people involved in the match have commented on the match getting to main event the show. As you might have expected, all three are rather excited about the news. According to PWInsider.com, the match main eventing the show is considered to be a major victory as the women’s division has been moving towards this moment for years.

Opinion: You couldn’t imagine that this was going to be anything less than positive and there’s nothing wrong with that. This really is the idea that you never thought would actually happen and now it really is. Consider just a few years ago when the Women’s Revolution hasn’t started yet and the matches were getting just a few seconds a week. Now, they’re in the biggest match of the year. The progress that it has taken to get here is amazing and they deserve all the credit in the world.
