Send them home happy. Monday Night Raw is a rather long show with three straight hours of wrestling to keep the fans entertained. This comes after a Main Event taping and various videos playing throughout the middle of the show don’t make the evening feel any shorter. After the show was over, there was one more match to go, featuring one of the company’s top stars.
After this week’s Monday Night Raw went off the air, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch successfully defended her title against Lacey Evans in a street fight. Lynch defeated Evans with the Disarm-Her. Both of them appeared during the show with Lynch hitting a Bexploder suplex on Evans to leave her laying. Lynch will defend the title against Evans at the upcoming Stomping Grounds pay per view.
These two work well together. Check out the end of the match:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that serves as a good closing for the show. Lynch is one of the most popular names in the company at the moment and it makes sense to have her out there to send the fans home happy. Her feud with Evans has gone well so far and their title match on Sunday sounds interesting. If they do better than they did before, things should go rather well.
