Welcome back. Wrestlers can be a unique breed as you can see them come and go from the industry. Some of them will stick around for a long time but others will try to leave but wind up right back where they were. That can make for some interesting situations and it seems to be the case again with a wrestler who has seemingly had some issues staying in one place.
This weekend, Kylie Rae made her NWA debut at When Our Shadows Fall. It was announced that she was officially signed to the promotion and would be appearing regularly. Rae teamed Taryn Terrell and defeated Thunder Rosa and Melina in a tag match. This comes a day after Rae successfully defended her Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title in her first match of the year.
Rae had been part of Impact Wrestling from October 2019 – October 2020, including becoming the #1 contender for the Knockouts Title. However, she did not appear at Bound For Glory for her title shot. After the no show, Rae announced her retirement from professional wrestling before announcing her return earlier this year. According to PWInsider.com, the NWA and Impact Wrestling came to an agreement to allow Rae to appear. She is not expected to appear for Impact Wrestling in the future.
Rae is back. Check out her return to the ring and some of her other great moments:
Opinion: Rae has had some pretty serious issues in her wrestling career but if she is ready to return, good for her for getting back in the ring. This is something where only she is going to know if she is ready and if she can do it, she is certainly allowed to make a comeback. Hopefully this works out better for her, and she seemed fine in her return to the ring.
What do you think of Rae? Who should she face next? Let us know in the comments below.
