The big step. Believe it or not, AEW’s first show was only about two months ago. They have since put on three events and there certainly still seems to be a lot of interest in the product. A lot of that doesn’t seem to matter though as we are now waiting to get to the real deal with the weekly television show on TNT. Things have picked up in a big way now, as we have a lot more information.
This feels huge. Check out the official trailer for the AEW television show:
The first official trailer for All Elite Wrestling on TNT has been released. The trailer included some new details, including the start date and time of October 2 at 8pm-10pm with the first episode taking place at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC. Assuming nothing changes,, the time slot means it will be up against NXT on the WWE Network. There is no name for the show yet, which is referred to as AEW On TNT. The trailer includes a brief introduction from Brandi Rhodes.

Opinion: It’s not like this was a secret but there is a lot to be said about finally having a trailer with some more details for the show. AEW has come a long way in virtually no time and this could be the start of something bit. Putting the show against NXT is an interesting detail and it is going to be telling to see if WWE makes a scheduling change. This could go a lot of ways but no matter how it goes, things are starting to change.
What do you expect from the new show? Will WWE change NXT’s time slot? Let us know in the comments below.
