They didn’t really hide this one. We’re coming up on Summerslam and given the short amount of time between Extreme Rules and Summerslam, the card has to come together in a hurry. Some of the bigger title matches have already been set but there are a few more still to go. One of the matches was all but set up on last week’s SmackDown Live, but now it has been made official.

This week on SmackDown Live, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston challenged Randy Orton to a title match at Summerslam. Orton accepted the match and promised to end Kingston’s reign with an RKO. This match was set up on last week’s SmackDown Live when Orton defeated Kingston in a six man tag with the RKO. The two have feuded over the years, with Kingston bringing up their history during the exchange that set up the match.

Maybe this had something to do with it. Check out an awesome moment between the two from back in the day:

Opinion: You had to know that this one was coming and there’s nothing wrong with that. These two have a long history and you could argue that Orton is a major reason why Kingston didn’t make it this far for the last ten years. The match should be fun and Kingston winning would actually be kind of a surprise. If he survives, I’m not sure who takes the title from him and that could be interesting.

Who do you think wins this match? Did Orton cause Kingston’s push to stall ten years ago? Let us know in the comments below.
