VIDEO: Eva Marie Hosting New Wrestling Series

She knows the wrestling job. There are certain wrestlers who just draw attention to themselves and that is the kind of thing that you can’t teach. Some of them know how to make you care, even if it might not be for the best reasons. At the same time though, this may not lead to the best in-ring success. It could however lead to success elsewhere, which seems to be the case for a former WWE star.

Total Divas has become one of WWE’s biggest successes out of the ring, as the series has been on the air for seven years and has spawned a spinoff series. Several WWE names have been on the show throughout its run and it has served as the inspiration for several WWE storylines. That is the kind of thing that can be a great launching pad for several names, which is the case for someone who is no longer in WWE but is still getting a shot.

Former WWE star Eva Marie has announced that she will be hosting a new series for Now This News called Faces And Heels, which focuses on seven women in the world of wrestling. None of the women were named, but several of them were shown in the ring, meaning that they are likely to be established wrestlers rather than women making their start in wrestling. The first episode will be streaming on July 30.

Opinion: Assuming we don’t have to listen to Eva Marie acting like a grizzled veteran of wrestling, this should be fine. While she wasn’t the best in-ring performer of all time, Eva Marie certainly had a screen presence to her and could be rather solid with something like this. It could be worth an episode or two, which is more than can be said for a lot of her time in the ring.
